Looking for NYC therapists who take insurance?

If you’re looking for an online therapist who takes insurance and is based in NYC, you’re in the right place.

Rene Gonzalez, LMHC, NYC therapist who takes insurance

I provide online therapy for adults in NYC and NY, and specialize in treating early-in-life trauma, including childhood emotional neglect and sexual abuse.

As a Queer, Latino therapist, I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive to marginalized identities and experiences.

Accepted Insurances

I am a NYC therapist who is in-network with the following insurance panels:

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford, Oscar, Cigna, Optum and Fidelis

If you’re using out-of-network benefits

You’ll pay for therapy out of pocket, and I’ll then provide you with a superbill, which is similar to a receipt, but with all the relevant codes so you can get reimbursed by your insurance company.

To find out how much you’ll pay per session, consult with your insurance company to find out if you have these kinds of benefits, and how much you’ll get reimbursed.

Out-of-Pocket Rates

$200 for a 50 minute session. If you have out-of-network benefits, I’ll provide you with a superbill that you can pass along to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Payment Methods

All major credit and debit cards accepted, including HSA and FSA style cards
